CRASH TEST PARTNERS
Vehicle crash testing to provide information for consumers is conducted
in Europe, USA, Japan and Australia. Government departments, motoring organisations,
consumer organisations and insurance companies support these programs.
Here is a list of known participants around the world. There are hundreds
of organisations involved.

Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP)
Began with full frontal crash tests in 1992 and commenced offset crash
tests (initially at 60km/h) in 1993. Aligned with EuroNCAP test protocol
in late 1999.
National Organization for Automotive Safety & Victims' Aid (OSA)
is a government-affiliated organization established by Japanese Government's
investment. The organization is engaged in a variety of duties for prevention
of auto accidents and promotion of the welfare of injured parties.
Began full frontal and side impact crash tests in the mid 1990s.
Began offset and side impact crash tests in 1997.
